While filming the visual recipe there was of lot of background noise of people talking and music.So I had to do foley and record some things again. I thought I might use the visuals from it too because it might turn out good, so someone was holding a light, another was holding a microphone, I was filming with an extra mic attached to the camera and someone was cutting some things.

Behind the scenes

I wanted to film a visual recipe of the process of making dumplings. The kitchen is an intimate part of a culture. By weaving my interviews and the visual recipe together I want to invite you. As if you're coming by for dinner and listening to our stories while experiencing the culture (through food).
